Greater Noida: Chaos gripped Galgotias University, after students from two groups caught in a brutal brawl inside the B Block premises. In a video that has now gone viral on social media, students can be seen hurling punches, slaps, and kicks at each other in full view of bystanders, none of whom appeared to intervene.
The reason behind the clash is still unclear, though it is being described as a "mutual dispute" by campus students. The fight reportedly broke out on Saturday, and by Sunday morning, clips of the altercation were circulating widely on platforms like X and Instagram.

Dankaur police confirmed they had taken cognisance of the incident after the video surfaced. “So far, no formal complaint has been lodged from either group,” a police official told Hindustan Live. “We are monitoring the situation and awaiting inputs from the university.”
Meanwhile, Galgotias University has launched an internal inquiry. However, the administration is yet to issue a formal statement regarding the incident.
This is not an isolated incident. Earlier, a video of girl students fighting, allegedly over WhatsApp group dynamics, made similar rounds online.
In the viral video, one student was seen pulling another by the hair and hitting her, while another girl tried to intervene. A boy standing nearby appeared to watch silently. The altercation was reportedly linked to disagreements over adding and removing contacts from a WhatsApp group.
