CBSE Compartment Exams 2025: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has issued an official announcement about the submission of the List of Candidates for the Supplementary Examinations 2025 for Classes 10 and 12. According to the notice, schools must finish the online submission procedure for regular students via the Pariksha Sangam site between May 30 and June 17, 2025. The late window is accessible between June 18, 2025 and June 19, 2025.

The submission procedure is only relevant to CBSE-affiliated institutions, and no submissions will be accepted after the deadline. A separate notice for private applicants has been released and is accessible on the CBSE's official website.

CBSE Class 10th and 12th Compartment Exams 2025: Registration dates

Everyone is notified that Class 12 students can only take part in one subject, however, Class 10 students are allowed to participate in up to two courses, subject to a legitimate subject combination as specified on the date sheet. The CBSE Class 12 supplemental test will be placed on Tuesday, July 15, 2025, as a one-day exam. The tests for Class 10 pupils will also begin on July 15 and will follow the detailed timetable which will be published by the CBSE later.

CBSE Supplementary Exams 2025: Eligibility criteria

Compartment exams for 2025 will be held for different student categories:

• Students put in the supplementary category for the 2025 board exams.

• Students who qualified due to topic replacement and want to enhance their performance.

• Students who completed the board exams but wish to enhance their performance in specific topics.

• Students seeking a third and final opportunity after failing in both 2024 and 2025 tries (only as private candidates).

• Students in Class 10 who want to move between Mathematics Standard (041) and Basic (241).

CBSE Supplementary Exams 2025: Fee details

According to the notification provided, the fee breakdown is as follows.

• The typical charge per topic is Rs 300 for Indian schools, Rs 1,000 for Nepalese schools, and Rs 2,000 for non-Indian schools for entries filed within the specified time frame.

• Late fees will be Rs 2,300 per subject for Indian schools, Rs 3,000 for Nepalese schools, and Rs 4,000 for schools outside of India.

• Visually challenged students in classes 10 and 12 are exempt from examination fees.
