Students and Teachers Share Feedback on CBSE Class 12 English Exam 2025

Richa Sharma, PGT English at Vidyagyan School, Bulandshahr, praised the CBSE Class 12 English question paper, calling it well-structured and thoughtfully designed. "The paper offered a balanced mix of conceptual, analytical, and application-based questions. It effectively assessed students' understanding of the subject without being overly difficult. The students were able to complete the paper within the given time. The paper ensured fairness, catering to all abilities, and encouraged critical thinking while remaining approachable. It was a well-rounded, competency-based assessment," she said.

Parv, a student, described most of the questions as straightforward with a slight twist. "We were able to complete the paper within the time limit," he added.

Nishtha, another student, found the question paper to be manageable. "The reading passages had inferential questions, but the writing part was easy. Literature was directly based on the chapters, requiring little in-depth understanding," she shared.

Avriti, a student from Maharaja Agrasen School, Vasundhara, who appeared for Set B, mentioned, "The paper wasn’t as difficult as I expected. The comprehension section, which is usually tricky, was quite easy this time. It was a little lengthy, though, and I was writing until the last minute. Overall, it was easy, except for the literature section, which was a bit tricky. Competency-based questions made me think for a while. I expect to score 90+ in this exam."

Aviral Shrivastava, a student, shared his experience after finishing his Class 12 English board exam: "The exam was a breeze! While the paper was a bit lengthy, the questions were surprisingly easy. I was thrilled to see that the more challenging chapters like 'Interview', 'Indigo', and 'Poets and Pancakes' were completely skipped, making the paper much easier. The comprehension section was slightly tricky—the first passage was a cakewalk, but the second one was a bit tougher. Nevertheless, I’m confident I’ve performed well and expect to score above 70 out of 80."

Simmy, a student from Arwachin Bharti Bhawan, shared her experience: "I received Set 3, and overall, the exam was moderate. The literature section was a bit challenging, especially for someone who isn’t used to writing regularly. However, the writing section was easy, with general questions and plenty of hints. The reading part, which I expected to be tough, turned out to be easier than ever, especially compared to previous papers and references, with direct questions. Literature took me more time than expected, but I managed to finish it with a solid summary. Overall, I'm expecting a respectable score."
