CBSE Board Exam 2025: The CBSE Class 10 Science paper is scheduled to be conducted today, February 20. Candidates must carry their CBSE admit card 2025 and school ID to appear for the exams. The exam will start at 10:30 and will conclude at 1:30 pm.
The science theory paper is awarded up to 80 marks, with the remaining 20 being determined by internal evaluation. The CBSE Class 10 syllabus for this year has not seen any modifications.

The CBSE Class 10 Science exam 2025 will consist of an 80-mark theory paper with the following marks distribution across units:
- World of Living:
(Life processes, Control and co-ordination in animals and plants, Reproduction, Heredity and Evolution)
Total Marks: 25
- Chemical Substances:
Nature and Behaviour (Chemical reactions, Acids, bases and salts, Metals and nonmetals, Carbon compounds)
Total Marks: 25
- Effects of Current:
(Electric current, Ohmβs law, Magnetic effects of current, Alternating current, Domestic circuits)
Total Marks: 13
- Natural Phenomena:
(Reflection and refraction of light, Functioning of a lens in the human eye, Refraction through a prism, etc.)
Total Marks: 12
- Natural Resources
(Our Environment)
Total Marks: 5
CBSE Board Exam 2025: Items Allowed In The Exam Hall
The following items are allowed inside the exam hall such as a transparent pouch, geometry/pencil box, blue or royal blue ink/ballpoint/gel pen, scale, writing pad, eraser, analogue watch, transparent water bottle, metro card, bus pass, and money.
CBSE Board Exam Passing Marks
Students must receive at least 33 per cent in each theory subject in order to pass the Class 10 board exams. They also need to score at least 33 per cent in practicals, projects, and internal assessments. Students need to obtain 33 per cent marks in theory and practical components together to clear the exam.
