CBSE 10th Result 2025 Declared: JNVs Lead With 99.49% Pass Rate

CBSE has declared the Class 10 results for 2025 with a pass rate of 93.66%. JNVs topped with 99.49%, followed by KVs at 99.45%.

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) declared the results of the 2025 Class 10 board examinations with a national pass percentage of 93.66%. It was slightly more than last year's 93.60%, reflecting students' steady performance in the country.

Top performing institute

Highest performing among all school types were Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas (JNVs) with a pass rate of 99.49%. Second were Kendriya Vidyalayas (KVs) with a pass rate of 99.45%, showing the exemplary academic record of centrally-governed schools. Independent schools had a pass percentage of 94.17% while that of STSS category schools was 91.53%.

Government and government-aided schools had pass percentages of 89.26% and 83.94%, respectively.

Girls outshine boys

This year, 23,85,079 students enrolled for the CBSE Class 10 exams, of which 23,71,939 appeared. Of these, 22,21,636 students passed, indicating the board's mass evaluation process and the hard work done by students and teachers alike.

Girls have beaten boys once again in the CBSE results. Although the pass percentage for girls was 95.00%, boys posted a slightly lower rate of 92.63%. Interestingly, transgender students too posted a satisfactory 95.00% pass rate, equal to that of girls.
