APSC Recruitment 2025: Eligibility criteria
To apply for the recruitment procedure, candidates must meet the following prerequisites:
1. The applicant must be an Indian citizen and a permanent resident of Assam.
2. The candidate must have completed a three-year diploma course in civil engineering or agricultural engineering from a government-recognised institution. The official notification specifies that no other diploma holders are eligible to apply.
3. The Diploma Course must be regular; those completed through online education, under any guise, will not be considered.
4. Candidates will be required to supply all appropriate documents while applying.
5. Prospective applicants must be at least 18 years old and no older than 40 as of January 1, 2025. The upper age limit is flexible for reserved groups.
Note: The candidates' age restriction will be computed using the Class 10/Class 12 Examination Admit Card/Pass Certificate/Marksheet issued by a recognised Central/State Board/Council, which clearly states their age or date of birth.
