Elon Musk, the current head of the Department of Government Efficiency or DOGE, also leads major corporations including SpaceX, X, and the Boring Company, apart from the biggest source of his wealth, Tesla.

Tesla New Job Listings In India

Tesla is the largest EV maker in the world, fighting a neck-to-neck competition with its Chinese rivals including BYD and Geely.

The company boss recently met with the country's Prime Minister Modi, when the latter was on a 2-day bilateral visit to the United States.

The much-anticipated meeting between PM Modi and the richest man in the world resulted in a conversation on multiple issues, according to their own individual accounts on X.

Now, barely days after the development, Tesla has shared jop postings for new openings at Tesla's India operation.

These postings were added to Tesla's page on LinkedIn on Monday, February 17.

As per the information on LinkedIn, as many as 12 new job postings have been shared on the company's page, just in the past 24 hours.

And all of these positions are for roles in its operations in Mumbai.

Tesla has a tough time flourishing in India. It has often been vary of the import duties levied on its products in India.

Now, with Trump's threat of reciprocal tariffs on goods around the globe, the possibility of Tesla's business expanding in India looks highly likely. Tesla would however has stiff competition against indigenous carmaker including the likes of Tata and Mahindra.
