The Maha Kumbh is a festival that is one of its kind, as it happens every 12 years. This time, it is happening in Uttar Pradesh's Prayagraj, previously known as Allahabad. Many have flocked to the temple to be part of this collective experience.

Adanis at Maha Kumbh

Some noteworthy names have also made their presence felt. Recently, adding to list of VVIPs visiting the Maha Kumbh, Adani Group chairman and one of the richest persons in India Gautam Adani visited Prayagraj for the festivity.

The head of the Ahmedabad-based conglomerate was not alone. He was in the company of Adani Foundation chair, Priti Adani.

Adanis Visit ISKCON tent

In addition to this, the Adanis also paid a visit to the ISKCON VIP tent at the Maha Kumbh.

Previously, Apple founder Steve Jobs' wife Laurene Powell Jobs was also amongst the notable attendees in town, surrounded by sages.

The Mega Event

The event is happening on a large scale, this time, the event has taken a grand appearance and has seen the government spend about Rs 7,500 crore in making this event happen.

Many million are expected to come to the mega event. As many as 1,50,000 interim tents, along with other accommodation structures are reportedly in place in Prayagraj.

The Maha Kumbh 2025 which started on January 13 will conclude on Februrary 26.
