Elon Musk and his electric vehicle maker, Tesla, are under immense pressure, as the company, apart from failing to attain sales and production targets, is also struggling with its brand and its identification, which is inevitably being directly or indirectly associated with the company owner, Elon Musk.

Tesla Under Pressure

Many have taken it to the streets to protest against Tesla. In a major incident, an alleged incident of arson was reported at a Tesla facility in Las Vegas, in the US state of Nevada.

Musk, who is the de facto head of the Department of Government Efficency or DOGE has been under scrutiny from different corners over his involvement, and alleged takeover of the US government.

Trump On Attacks

Trump, who previously defended Musk and his work at DOGE, has now cautioned and issued threats against those who protest against Tesla and Musk.

In a post on his own Truth Social, the 47th US president said, "People that get caught sabotaging Teslas will stand a very good chance of going to jail for up to twenty years."

He further added, "And that includes the funders. WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU!!!"

Previously, at the back of backlash against Musk and his ways of running DOGE, Trump condemned the public discontent against the X and SpaceX boss in an elaborate post.

Trump Backs Musk

In a post on Truth Social Trump said, "To Republicans, Conservatives, and all great Americans, Elon Musk is “putting it on the line” in order to help our Nation, and he is doing a FANTASTIC JOB! But the Radical Left Lunatics, as they often do, are trying to illegally and collusively boycott Tesla, one of the World’s great automakers, and Elon’s “baby,” in order to attack and do harm to Elon, and everything he stands for."

Furthermore, he also added, "They tried to do it to me at the 2024 Presidential Ballot Box, but how did that work out? In any event, I’m going to buy a brand new Tesla tomorrow morning as a show of confidence and support for Elon Musk, a truly great American. Why should he be punished for putting his tremendous skills to work in order to help MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN???"

Thereafter, Trump even posed with a Tesla car at the White House, claiming to but on the cars in Elon Musk's presence.
