Mumbai: India’s largest airline, IndiGo has been recognised as ‘Partner of the Year’ at the 18th edition of the ‘Changi Airline Awards 2025’, after rising to become the fifth largest foreign carrier at Singapore’s Changi Airport. This recognition celebrates the long-standing strategic collaboration between IndiGo and Changi Airport, built on a shared commitment to operational excellence, seamless connectivity, and exceptional customer experience.
IndiGo operates over 70 weekly services between India and Singapore, which is 53% more compared to pre-Covid levels. The accolade presented to IndiGo is a recognition of the airline’s remarkable growth at Changi Airport since the commencement of its Singapore operations. The recognition highlights IndiGo’s dedication to fostering strong international relationships and delivering unparalleled travel experiences to customers traveling through Singapore, a key hub in its growing international network.

Yam Kum Weng, chief executive officer of Changi Airport Group said, “For the first time, our passenger traffic over a 12-month period has exceeded pre-Covid levels and reached an all-time high of 68.4 million. During the year, we welcomed seven new passenger airlines to the Changi family and added 20 new city links to Changi’s network. Changi is now linked to some 170 cities by about 100 airlines with over 7,200 weekly flights, firmly positioning us among the world’s busiest international airports.”
IndiGo connects Singapore with nine Indian cities including New Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Kolkata, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Bhubaneswar Coimbatore and Tiruchirappalli, making Singapore its third-largest international destination. Apart from direct services to Singapore, IndiGo has facilitated connectivity between India and Australia via Changi Airport through its codeshare partnership with Qantas Airways.
