Flight Fares Jump

Mumbai To Goa Roundtrip

As per the booking website, according to the currently available prices, a round trip from Mumbai to Goa (Dabolim) would cost over Rs 15,000. More precisely, as per the website algorithm suggestion, the cost of the round trip between the two points would amount to around Rs 16,738.

Here, the round-trip journey would start on December 27, and conclude on January 2, after landing back in Mumbai.

Meanwhile, if one were to book tickets for a different date, more precisely for a journey that would start on February 1 and would return to Mumbai on February 5 2025, the prices of the ticket would be around Rs 5,531 for an individual.

This marks a difference of over 200 per cent or 3 times between the two dates.

Delhi To Goa Roundtrip

Now, we look at the price of a ticket for a journey between Delhi and Goa. If you are travelling from the capital to the western state, the prices double for you. When it looks at the ticket prices for the same date, between the two points, the difference stands at above Rs 10,000 for a round trip.

The journey between December 27 and January 1 would cost travellers about Rs 22,740.

This is far greater than the airfare for the same journey between February 1 and February 5. Here, the prices would be around of Rs 11,727, marking 2-fold jump in prices.

Although the holiday time price spike is a common occurrence, the difference one has to shell out during the holiday, only makes the holiday more fiscally cumbersome.
