Employees can check their Provident Fund (PF) balance without logging into a portal. The Employees' Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) provides two methods: missed call and SMS.

Dial 9966044425 to receive your balance by SMS from your registered mobile number. The call will disconnect automatically. You will receive an SMS with your PF balance and last contribution.

To activate UAN, visit EPFO Member Portal. Click on "Activate UAN" and enter UAN, name, date of birth, mobile number and captcha. Submit the OTP received. Set a password and log in. Once activated, you can use the missed call and SMS services.

The conditions for this are that Universal Account Number (UAN) must be activated. Mobile number must be linked to your UAN. At least one of the following KYC details must be updated: Aadhaar, PAN, Bank Account Number. This service is available at no cost.

To update KYC, log in to the EPFO member portal with your UAN and password. Go to Manage and Click on KYC. Add or edit Aadhaar, PAN or bank account number. Click on the Save option. Wait for your employer to approve the charges. These services allow members to monitor PF contributions without using the internet.

Send EPFOHO UAN to 7738299899 from your registered mobile number. You will receive your PF balance, last contribution, and KYC status. To receive the message in a different language, add the first three letters of the language code.

Supported languages: English, Hindi, Punjabi, Gujarati, Marathi, Kannada, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Bengali
