Mumbai: Gautam Adani, Chairman of the Adani Group, spoke to shareholders at the Annual General Meeting (AGM) 2025 of Adani Enterprises Ltd., Adani Ports, and NDTV Ltd. He began his speech by saluting the armed forces and paying tribute to the victims of the Air India Flight 171 crash in Ahmedabad.

"India Knows the Value of Peace"

Referring to Operation Sindoor, Adani said history remembers the brave. He praised the Indian forces for standing strong, not for medals, but for duty. He said India wants peace but knows how to respond strongly if needed.

Adani Group Stands Strong Despite Challenges

Quoting a popular saying, Adani said, "Boats don’t cross by fearing the waves."

He stated that the Adani Group never backed down, even during tough times and constant scrutiny. Instead, they grew stronger and achieved record revenue, proving real leadership is built during crises.

Record Achievements and Future Goals

Adani Power crossed 100 billion units of power production — the first private company to do so. It is aiming for 31 GW capacity by 2030.

The Group's total revenue grew by 7 percent, and EBITDA rose by 8.2 percent, reaching Rs 2,71,664 crore revenue and ₹89,806 crore adjusted EBITDA.

Adani said, “We don’t just build businesses, we create new possibilities for India.”

Mega Renewable Energy Plans

Adani Green is building the world’s largest renewable energy park in Khavda, visible even from space. It targets 50 GW by 2030, and a total capacity of 100 GW including solar, thermal, and hydro.

Adani Energy Solutions has won transmission projects worth Rs 44,000 crore and is handling smart metering projects worth Rs 13,600 crore.

Green Technology and Natural Resources

Adani New Industries is making solar modules and electrolysers and will build a 10 GW integrated solar module facility next year.

Adani’s natural resources arm produced 47 million tonnes of coal and iron ore, targeting over 30% growth by FY26.
