Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): Talaiya police have identified another person who was involved in the murder of 23-year-old Adil Khan who was stabbed to death in Budhwara area on Sunday morning.

Adil was stabbed by transgender Alvira Khan aka Mahak and her aides in a tussle over jurisdiction between two groups of transgenders. Talaiya police on Monday produced Alvira Khan and her aide Nawab in court and sent them to jail under judicial custody.

TI Chaturbhuj Rathore said through CCTV footages one more assailant Ruhan has been identified. Ruhan lives in Mata Mandir area and teams have been formed to trace and arrest him, he added.

It is worth mentioning that CCTV footages revealed that Adil first assaulted Alvira. It is alleged that Adil’s aides who were with him fled while he was caught and stabbed in his neck, stomach and hands multiple times by assailants. Police officials said Adil was friends with Alvira Khan earlier.

However, he recently joined a rival group of transgenders who wanted to take over the area with his help. Adil had past criminal record and got married on February 22.
