Ratlam (Madhya Pradesh): Madhya Pradesh CM Mohan Yadav announced that Madhya Pradesh’s Ratlam received investment proposals worth ₹30,402 crore in the 8th Regional RISE (Regional Industries, Skill and Employment) Conclave, held in the district on Friday.
CM Yadav also gave the green light to Bhoomi Poojan and inauguration of 47 industrial units across 21 districts.
These projects represent investments worth over ₹1670 crore and are expected to create more than 3,780 new jobs.
The event took place at Nehru Stadium in Ratlam and saw participation from over 3,500 industrialists and investors from across the country. The CM also interacted directly with investors from several districts, including Sagar and Rewa.
On stage with the CM were MSME Minister Chaitanya Kashyap, BJP State President VD Sharma, local MPs, and MLAs from all five Ratlam constituencies.
Now, Ratlam will be known for its industries: CM
During his speech, CM Mohan Yadav said Ratlam, already famous for its sweets, gold, and sarees, will now also be known for its Industries Conclave. He also announced funding for a 4-track railway line in Ratlam.
The CM emphasised the government’s commitment to opening new doors of progress in every region. Ratlam will now also be recognised for skill development, scale, and startups, he added.
The event also featured five local entrepreneurs who shared their success stories of becoming self-reliant through small businesses and self-employment.
