Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): As the central state, Madhya Pradesh, battles extreme heat, people are forced to find relief in air conditioners, home stays, pool parties and most importantly cool drinks and food!
Looking for the escape from the scorching sun, Chief Minister Mohan Yadav found a common, yet delicious way to stay cool.
During his visit to Neemuch district, he stopped by a local ‘lassi shop’ and sipped on a chilled glass of lassi with his party workers.
The CM also shared his moments-of-beating-the-heat on his official X handle and captioned it as, “Garmi ka mausam, apnon ka sath, lassi ka swaad…..The scorching sun, the company of close ones and the taste of sweet & chilled lassi!”
Seeing the CM casually sipping lassi by the roadside surprised many locals as well as netizens. The video quickly went viral on social media, attracting thousands of mixed comments.
Later, the local chop owner also presented a necklace to the CM after which he left.
CM Yadav's love for street food
This is not the first time when, Chief Minister Mohan Yadav was spotted street food. Last year in November, CM Yadav was spotted relishing 'gujiyas' and 'jalebis' at a local shop while campaigning for bypolls in Madhya Pradesh's Sheopur.
The Chief Minister posted a video showing the duo cherishing the deserts, simultaneously engaging with the public.
