Focus on boosting tourism at Chandpatha Lake

It is suspected that the sound and wind from a drone, used for security and filming, might have agitated the bees, although this has not been officially confirmed.

Chandpatha Lake, declared a Ramsar site, has seen a decline in tourism due to the water hyacinth problem, The ‘Terror of Bengal’ has also disrupted boating activities in the lake. The dredging machine worth ₹1.2 crore, was intended to clear the lake and boost tourism.
