Gwalior (Madhya Pradesh): A major fire broke out in the house of Congress leader Ramesh Chaurasia on Sunday.
Fortunately, the entire family managed to escape safely before the fire spread and no casualties were reported.
However, two motorcycles and an electric car parked at the premises were completely burnt in the incident.
At the time of the incident, four members of the family were on the second floor but were able to get out in time.
According to information, the incident took place in Jasusi Ki Gali near Chawri Bazaar in Maharaj Bada.

Short circuit suspected
It is said that the fire started due to a short circuit in the electric meter. Within minutes, the flames engulfed the office and the first floor of the house, destroying property worth several lakhs of rupees.
Fire Brigade officer Satpal Singh Chauhan confirmed that they received an emergency call about the fire.
Four fire engines were rushed to the spot, and after two hours of continuous effort, the fire was brought under control. Thankfully, there was no loss of life.
