Datia (Madhya Pradesh): Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya visited the famous Pitambara Shakti Peeth in Madhya Pradesh’s Datia on Saturday.

The deputy CM here offered prayers to Goddess Baglamukhi with all the rituals. He also performed abhishek at the Vankhandeshwar Mahadev temple, seeking blessings for the prosperity of the state.

After completing the puja, Maurya left for Jhansi.

A video of UP’s deputy chief minister Keshav Prasad Maurya also surfaced on the internet.

During his visit, Maurya made a significant statement regarding the Prayagraj Maha Kumbh. He described it as a grand, divine, and enlightening event, not just for India but for the entire world.

Speaking to the media, he responded to criticisms surrounding the Kumbh Mela, stating, "Questioning faith is the biggest sin." He emphasized that millions of devotees from India and abroad participated in the event, taking a sacred dip in the Ganges.

Maurya further said that leaders like Akhilesh Yadav, Mallikarjun Kharge, Lalu Prasad Yadav, or Mamata Banerjee who question faith will ultimately face the people's response. He concluded by saying, "Mata Rani’s blessings are limitless."

Mahakumbh mela started on January 13 and ended on February 26. The event recorded crores of footfalls everyday and remained enveloped in devotion throughout.
