Jabalpur (Madhya Pradesh): Madhya Pradesh’s largest flyover is going to be inaugurated on August 23 in Jabalpur by Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari, and Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav.
The flyover stretched to approximately 8 kilometers from Madan Mahal to Damohnaka.
The flyover is largest in the state and 2nd largest in India.

Flyover to ease traffic
This new flyover is expected to ease traffic congestion and improve connectivity in the region. It is likely to cut the drive time by 15-20 minutes.
The information was shared by State Public Works Minister Rakesh Singh through his official X handle. He wrote “Madhya Pradesh is all set to receive a major infrastructure boost as the state’s largest flyover, built in Jabalpur, will be inaugurated on August 23."
"The inauguration will take place at the hands of Hon’ble Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways, Shri Nitin Gadkari, and Hon’ble Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, Mohan Yadav,” he added.
He further congratulated the citizens for the flyover and said that this historic development is a proud moment for Jabalpur.
Former CM Shivraj SIngh Chauhan inaugurated a part in 2023
In 2023, the then Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan inaugurated a segment of the state’s largest flyover, which stretched about 1.25 kilometers (from Mahanadda to LIC), in Jabalpur.
