Sheopur (Madhya Pradesh): A tragic incident was reported in Madhya Pradesh's Sheopur on Friday, when a groom collapsed to death barely minutes before reaching the wedding stage.

The incident happened when all preparations for the wedding were in place, and the baraatis danced with the groom all the way to the venue, where his bride was waiting for him.

The groom, Pradeep Jat, had arrived at the wedding venue with a grand procession.

As part of the traditional rituals, he performed the "toran" ceremony and then mounted the horse to proceed toward the stage.

Before this, he had joyfully danced with his friends and family, to celebrate his big day. However, as he was moving towards the stage, he suddenly collapsed.

His relatives and guests rushed him to the hospital, but doctors declared him dead on arrival.

The bride, unaware of the tragedy, was beautifully dressed and waiting for him to arrive. What was meant to be the happiest day of their lives turned into a moment of sorrow.

Pradeep Jat was the nephew of Congress state secretary Yogesh Jat and had also served as the former district president of NSUI. His unexpected death left his loved ones devastated, turning a wedding celebration into a heartbreaking tragedy.

Authorities have been informed, and an investigation is underway to determine the exact cause of his sudden death.
