Narmadpuram (Madhya Pradesh): Commissioner Krishna Gopal Tiwari has ordered strict monitoring and immediate action across department following a comprehensive review meeting. He asked officials to take daily cognizance of newspaper reports to identify and resolve ground-level issues.

The commissioner expressed concern over contaminated and adulterated food being sold in hotels and restaurants, instructing the food and safety department to inspect and destroy such items promptly. He also asked the chief medical and health officer to improve district hospital conditions and ensure readiness for flood situations.

During the review of departments, he ordered resolution of all 435 pending Reader ID revenue cases and directed timely disposal of CM helpline complaints. The district’s revenue collection targets of Rs 14 crore were highlighted, with a push for accelerated recovery in the coming month.

Commissioner Tiwari also called for the completion of farmer registry and lease distribution by July 31, and compensation payment in 46 land acquisition cases. Under Jal Jeevan Mission, he instructed that tap connections must reach all households by the end of this month.

He directed inspection of school, hostels, anganwadis, and health centers to ensure basic services like nutritious food, vaccine coverage and cleanliness. MNREGA wages were to be cleared promptly, and Janpad offices were told to ensure functional toilets.
