Katni (Madhya Pradesh): Panic struck Madhya Pradesh’s Katni city on Monday when a stray bull went on a rampage, attacking 3 members of the same family. All three sustained severe injuries.
The incident took place in Robert Line area under Madhav Nagar police station, when a woman was standing outside her house and the bull suddenly attacked her.
Hearing her screams, her daughter rushed outside to help, but the bull chased and knocked her down as well. Shortly after, another family member came out, only to be attacked too.
All 3 suffered injuries in the attack. The entire incident was captured in CCTV footage which has gone viral on social media. The video clearly shows the mishap and disorder created by the incident.

Locals blame municipal corporation
Following the attack, angry locals gathered at the spot and blamed the municipal corporation for the incident. Despite strict orders from the Katni Collector to control stray animals, bulls and other cattle continue to roam freely in the city.
People have even started calling them ‘agents of death’, putting people’s lives at risk. Locals say the municipal’s task force to catch stray animals has become completely inactive.
Responding to the incident, district officials said the Katni Collector has already instructed that FIRs should be filed against owners of stray animals. Several such cases have reportedly been registered at different police stations in the district.
