Shivpuri (Madhya Pradesh): A rape case was reported from Madhya Pradesh’s Shivpuri district, where the accused’s wife herself recorded entire crime’s video, which later went viral, as reported on Saturday.
According to information, the incident occurred in the Bhonti police station area of Shivpuri district. The accused were identified as Karan Singh Parihar and his wife Kavita Parihar.
The matter came to fore after the video went viral. The survivor then filed a police complaint, leading to the arrest of both husband and the wife.
According to the victim’s complaint, she was abducted while grazing goats in a field around 4 in the evening. At the same time Karan and Kavita were allegedly working nearby.
Suddenly, Karan forced the victim into a room on the farm and raped her. As the husband was committing a crime, his wife was recording the entire act on her phone.
After the video surfaced online, the survivor approached the police. Bhonti police registered a case against Karan Singh and Kavita Parihar under relevant sections of the IT Act, including Sections 64, 351(3), 66(e), and 67(a).
Both accused were arrested and presented in court, which sent them to jail. The police are continuing their investigation.
