Chhatarpur (Madhya Pradesh): Doctors at Chhatarpur District Hospital successfully removed a plastic bottle from the stomach of a young man on Wednesday.
The unusual case had left the patient uneasy as he was unable to eat.

The incident is from the Naugaon police station area.
How did the bottle enter the stomach?
According to information, the man told doctors that the bottle had entered his digestive system through his rectum while he was using medication to clean worms.

The bottle entered his body through his rectum, not his mouth, and moved upward through the intestines until it reached his stomach.
An X-ray confirmed that the bottle had reached his stomach, making immediate surgery necessary.
A team of experienced doctors, including Dr. Manoj Chaudhary, Dr. Ashish Shukla, Dr. Nandkishore Jatav, Dr. Srishti Shrivas, and supported by the hospital’s dedicated nursing staff, carefully performed the operation.
Using precise surgical techniques, they made an incision in the patient’s stomach and successfully removed the plastic bottle, ensuring that the young man did not suffer any further complications.
After the procedure, the patient was closely monitored and has now fully recovered, much to the relief of his family.

Hospital officials pointed out that this is not the first time the medical team has dealt with such unusual cases.
