Gwalior (Madhya Pradesh): The high-profile Raja Raghuvanshi murder case continues to unfold, with more people being taken into custody from different cities, including Gwalior and Ashoknagar.
A contractor from Gwalior and a watchman from Ashoknagar have been taken into custody in connection with the case.
The contractor from Gwalior had given some of his belongings, including ₹5 lakh in cash and a pistol, to Sonam Raghuvanshi in Indore.
According to information, the contractor named Lokendra Singh Tomar has been taken into custody by the Crime Branch police.
The arrest was made from Flat No. 105 at NK Plaza in Gandhi Nagar. Along with Gwalior Crime Branch, police officials from Shillong were also present.
Meanwhile, a team from Shillong Police reached Ashoknagar on Sunday night to continue the investigation.
With help from local police, they detained Balli alias Balbir Ahirwar from Madagan village.
Lokendra (Gwalior contractor) has a flat in Indore and is said to have given some of his valuable items— including ₹5 lakh in cash and a pistol — to Sonam Raghuvanshi, who is connected to the case.

Lokendra came to Gwalior from Indore on Sunday evening and was staying at his flat when police received information about his presence and took him into custody.
Now, more police officials from Shillong are expected to reach Gwalior. Lokendra is likely to be taken to Shillong for further investigation.
