Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): Quarterly examinations from Class 9 to 12 will begin in government schools on August 28. Directorate of Public Instruction (DPI) has issued guidelines in this regard to all joint directors and district education officers.
The examinations will end by September 9. The question papers of the quarterly examination will be sent to Vimarsh portal. This will ensure the quality of examination paper at the state level.
Besides, parents and teachers meeting (PTM) will be organised in all schools on September 16. The parents will be allowed to see the answer sheets. The Joint Directors and District Education Officers have been asked to form separate teams and inspect at least 10-10 schools.
The results of the quarterly examination will be entered on Vimarsh portal by September 20.

Apaar ID to be mandatory
Apaar ID system has been made mandatory for High School and Higher Secondary Examination conducted by MP Board from year 2026-27 It has been made mandatory for students based on the UDISE portal in the forms of all the examinations of the Board.
Apaar ID has been made optional in the application forms to be filled in Class 9 to 12 for academic session 2025-26. This system will be mandatory in 2026-27.
