Pravasi Madhya Pradesh Summit To Debut At GIS 2025, Over 500 NRIs To Participate

Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): The NRIs of Madhya Pradesh origin living across the globe will join Global Investors Summit (GIS) 2025, which will begin in the city on February 24. For the first time, a Pravasi Madhya Pradesh Summit will be part of GIS.

The summit to be held on February 25 - the second and last day of the GIS - will witness participation by over 500 NRIs who belong to Madhya Pradesh. They will include delegates from 15 countries. Among them will be members of Friends of MP chapter of Abu Dhabi, Boston and the UK.

The chiefs of these chapters, Leena Vaidya, Permit Makode and Rohit Dixit respectively will attend the meet. In addition, Prerna Bhardwaj, mayor of Gerrards Cross, UK, and Raminder Singh Ranger, a member of British House of Lords - both from MP - will also participate. Chief minister Mohan Yadav will deliver keynote address at Pravasi Madhya Pradesh summit, which will discuss avenues of investments by NRIs in their home state, technical cooperation and cultural exchange.

The department of overseas Indians of MP government will be the nodal department for the summit. Department principal secretary Sandeep Yadav will brief NRIs about the investment opportunities in the state and how they can contribute to the growth and progress of their state.
