His highly secured convoy left from Raja Bhoj Airport for the Raj Bhavan. Besides the Z+ security for the PM, a three-layered security was set up along the 13.8 km stretch between the airport and Raj Bhavan.

Bhopal district police personnel were deployed to all the high-rise buildings along the route taken by PM Modi. The police teams will keep an eye on the surroundings via binoculars to ensure nothing 'unplanned' happens. Drones were completely banned on the route.

High-profile dinner at Raj Bhavan

The Prime Minister is likely to have dinner with CM Mohan Yadav, Governor Mangubhai Patel, VD Sharma and other senior BJP officials later in the evening. He will also meet BJP MLAs and leaders.
