Passenger Bus Plunges into 30-Foot-Deep Ditch In Madhya Pradesh's Bhind; A Dozen People Injured

Bhind (Madhya Pradesh): A major accident took place in the ravines of Chambal bridge in Madhya Pradesh's Bhind, where a passenger bus lost control and fell into a 30-foot deep ditch.

The bus was en route from Delhi to Bhind and around 11 people a said to sustained injuries. Around 4 are in critical condition.

Bus was travelling from Delhi

The incident took place on Saturday when the bus was on National Highway (NH) 719. The incident erupted panic and endless traffic jam on the road.

Sources revealed that, the bus overturned in the ravines on the side of the road near Barhi village before the Chambal bridge, causing a panic among people.

4 people critical

According to Phup police station in-charge Satendra Singh Rajput, the cops rushed immediately at the spot upon receiving information. Passersby and local shepherds reached the spot and rescued the people trapped in the bus.

All the injured passengers were taken to local Phup hospital for treatment in an ambulance. About 11 people were injured in this incident. In which 3 to 4 people sustained grave injuries.

The Phup police station is further investigating the matter.
