Jabalpur (Madhya Pradesh): A parked car slipped into a drain after a three-year-old wall collapsed in Jabalpur’s Keshari Nagar, Lala Lajpat Rai ward, on Monday.

The vehicle, owned by local resident, was partially submerged, though no injuries were reported.

According to information, the wall was built just three years ago and was located right next to a large drain. Due to the collapse, a car parked nearby slipped and got submerged into the drain.

The car is said to belong to a local resident named Mahendra Rajak and no one was injured in the accident, and there was no loss of life. However, the incident has left the local people angry and worried.

Local residents have raised serious questions about the poor quality of construction. They alleged that the wall was not built properly and that cheap materials might have been used. Locals said that if someone had been standing nearby at the time, it could have led to a major tragedy

Locals are now demanding a proper investigation into the matter and strict action against those responsible for the poor construction. They also want the authorities to repair the damage quickly and ensure safety in the area.

This accident has once again highlighted the risks of weak construction and poor maintenance in city infrastructure.
