According to police station in-charge Shashi Tomar, Garima’s body was recovered downstream after a 6-houyr long rescue operation.

Intense rainfall in the district has affected the daily lives of people

The tragedy unfolded amid heavy rainfall in Sheopur since the last two days. Due to the continuous rains, an average of 111.8 mm rainfall has been recorded in the district.

Meanwhile, the district recorded 119.32 mm of rain on July 13. The maximum impact of the rain was seen in the Baroda area, where 174 mm rainfall was recorded.
