According to information, ASI Shivcharan Dubey from the Gada Traffic Police Station was checking vehicles with his team.
During the check, an elderly man and his wife were riding a motorcycle without helmets, coming from Bhedaghat.
The police stopped them and started a challan (fine) process for not wearing helmets. The elderly man argued but later paid the fine and left.
Later, the man informed his son, Ankit Sen, a resident of Gujarati Colony in Sanjeevani Nagar.
After hearing the incident, Ankit became very angry. He went to the spot with some of his friends and argued with ASI Shivcharan Dubey. He even threatened to get the officer's uniform removed.

The situation worsened when Ankit snatched a phone from a policeman who was recording the incident and threw it away.
After the incident, police took immediate action. A complaint was registered at the Dhanvantari Nagar police post.
The post in-charge, Dinesh Gautam, said that a case has been filed against Ankit Sen for stopping a government officer from doing his duty, threatening, and trying to attack.
