Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission (MPPSC) has announced 158 posts for recruitment under the State Service Examination 2025. The exam will be held on February 16.

The notification was issued on December 31; however, the candidates are raising concerns about the limited vacancies.

They are demanding to increase the number of job positions.

Candidates run campaigns on social media

Several candidates took to social media to raise their demands, stating that the state government should increase the number of vacancies, as at least 1 lakh candidates have submitted the applications.

The candidates have started a social media campaign and are posting their demands and concerns using #MPPSC and #MPPSC_Protest.

They claimed that currently more than 700 posts are vacant in various departments of the state; thus, the number of vacancies should be increased under the 2025 examination.

Last year too, the commission had issued the notification of PSC 2024 for only 50 posts. After the protest, 60 posts were increased, and recruitment was done on 110 posts.

The MPPSC officials said that the decision to increase the number of posts is taken at the department level. A letter has been written to these departments in this regard.
