Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): The Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission (MPPSC) 2025 preliminary exam started today with strict rules and tight security.
The exam is being conducted in two shifts—the first shift was held from 10 AM to 12 PM, while the second shift is scheduled from 2:15 PM to 4:15 PM.

Students Share Their Exam Experience
Students who appeared for the first shift said that the paper was of moderate level. One of the questions was related to committees, which was as per the syllabus.
A student named Sagar Sen shared that the paper was normal, and all questions were fact-based. He also confirmed that there were World Cup-related questions, but the exam was not too difficult. It was direct and to the point.
Strict Security Measures at Exam Centers
Candidates started arriving at the exam centers from 9 AM. Security was very strict, and all candidates had to go through detailed checking at the entrance.
Items like mobile phones, vehicle keys, necklaces, and even religious threads (kalawa) were not allowed inside the exam hall.
As per the dress code, only slippers or sandals were permitted. Candidates were allowed to carry only a black pen into the examination hall.
The MPPSC 2025 prelims were conducted at 34 exam centers in the district under strict security measures. A total of 11,431 candidates appeared for the exam.

Mixed Reactions on Strict Security Rules
Candidates had mixed opinions about the strict security measures. Some students said that such steps were necessary to ensure a fair exam, while others felt that the restrictions were too harsh.
