Jabalpur (Madhya Pradesh): 14 cattle died after consuming linseed crops, suspected to have been sprayed with toxic chemicals in Madhya Pradesh's Jabalpur. The incident was reported on Tuesday after the bodies were discovered. Additionally, nine cattle are in critical condition, while timely intervention by veterinary doctors saved over 75 others.

The alarming situation unfolded when villagers discovered over 30 cattle lying in the fields, triggering an immediate response from veterinary teams and local authorities. Police officials have initiated an investigation to determine whether chemical poisoning was responsible for the deaths. Post-mortems were conducted on-site, and the local administration is actively monitoring the case to prevent further incidents.

Two 17-year-old boys drowned in Sheopur

Two 17-year-old boys drowned while bathing in a pit near a crusher in Iklod village, in Madhya Pradesh's Sheopur. The victims, identified as Nikhil Gaur and Nilesh Jadon, were on a pilgrimage to Chhimchhima Hanuman Temple when they stopped to bathe and tragically went missing in the water.

Upon receiving information, officers from the Vijaypur Police Station in-rushed to the scene with his team and summoned divers for a rescue operation in Chandeli Pond. Despite ongoing efforts, no trace of the boys has been found yet. Local police and administration remain on high alert, ensuring all possible resources are deployed for the search.
