Gwalior (Madhya Pradesh): A shameful incident was reported in Gwalior, where a drunk retired man urinated near a female passenger‘s berth.
According to reports, the woman identified as Aarti Singh was travelling in B/5 coach of AP Express (20805). The coach lights were off at the time of the incident.

No GRP Jawan present on duty
When the woman protested against this, the accused started creating a ruckus. The passengers looked for the GRP personnel present in the train to complain about the matter, but no one was found. The coach attendant was also found sleeping deeply.
After this, the matter was reported to RPF. RPF has detained the accused retired soldier at Gwalior station. The incident took place on Thursday-Friday intervening night.
Aarti Singh boarded her train from Jhansi railway station. The woman was travelling from Jhansi to New Delhi on seat number 28 of AC coach B-5. Around 12.30 pm, between Dabra and Gwalior, the retired soldier identified as Vijay Singh came from a seat and urinated near the woman passenger's seat.

Passengers accuse GRP
The passengers travelling in the train accused the GRP jawans who were on duty in the train and were missing from the spot.
Action under Railway Act
In this case, TI RPF Manoj Sharma said, "The retired soldier had urinated near the seat of a female passenger in an inebriated state. In this case, the accused was taken off the train. Also, action has been taken under the Railway Act. He has been kept in the lockup for now."
