Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): A diverse group of candidates has emerged with varying educational background in the ensuing Assembly election. They include sitting and former MLAs. There are others who dedicated decades to politics. What unites them is absence of college degree. Have a look.
Kalsingh Bhabar: Class 12 pass BJP candidate from Thandla, Kalsingh was elected MLA from Thandla twice, once as a BJP member and once as an independent candidate. He is also the state president of Tribal Front.
Antar Singh Patel: Contesting for BJP in Rajpur, Antar Singh Patel has studied up to Class 8. He was district panchayat president and narrowly missed victory in 2018 Assembly election.
Nanda Brahmane: A BJP candidate from Bhikangaon, she has studied till Class 10. Nanda Brahmane has studied till Class 10. Though she lost 2013 Assembly election, she remained engaged in the constituency.

Kalu Singh Thakur: Kalu Singh Thakur, a 5th grade pass candidate representing BJP in Dharampuri, is a former MLA.
Sunita Patel: A Congress candidate from Gadarwara, she has studied till Class 5. A sitting MLA from Gadarwara, her political involvement spans over 25 years.
Sanjay Shukla: Congress MLA fromIndore-1, Sanjay Shukla has studied till Class 12. He comes from a political family, being the son of BJP veteran Vishnu Prasad Shukla.
Kamlesh Shah: Kamlesh Shah, a Congress candidate from Amarwara, is Class 11 pass. He was Harrai Janpad Panchayat president and was elected MLA twice from Amarwara.
Gendubai Chouhan: Gendubai Chouhan, a Congress candidate from Nepanagar, has studied till Class 10. She is Mahila Congress secretary and member of district panchayat.
Wal Singh Meda: Wal Singh Meda, a Congress candidate from Petlawad, is Class 8 pass. A sitting MLA from Petlawad, he was sarpanch for 10 years. He is also the president of Bhil Sewa Sangh.
