What do meteorologists say?
IMD Bhopal’s senior meteorologist said that apart from the three cyclonic systems, two troughs are also passing through the region, which is causing the weather disturbance. This unstable weather is likely to continue until May 7, bringing strong winds and more rain.
Weather expected in next 2 days
On May 5, weather conditions are expected to remain similar. Thunderstorms with rain and gusty winds are expected in over 50 districts including Bhopal, Indore, Gwalior, Jabalpur, Ujjain, Rewa, Sagar, Shivpuri, Khargone, and many others. Strong winds, lightning, and rain are likely.
Whereas, on May 6, stormy weather may continue in most parts of the state. Rain, thunderstorms, and strong winds are expected in nearly the same districts as the previous day. Hailstorms may also occur in some areas. The weather will remain unstable.
