Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): A new controversy has cropped up about former constable of the Transport Department, Saurabh Sharma. In a letter, RTI activist Sanket Sahu has claimed that the then minister Narottam Mishra recommended appointment of Sharma in the department on compassionate ground.

But according to the letter presented by Sahu, Mishra recommended Sharma’s appointment on compassionate ground in the health department, because he was the health minister. He does not know Sharma, and an unnecessary controversy is created, Mishra said. Mishra further said that when he was the health minister he received an application for appointment on compassionate ground and forwarded it to the commissioner for routine action. “So, what is wrong with it?” Mishra said.
