Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): The Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education (MPBSE) has announced strict action against those leaking Class 10 and 12 board exam papers.

Anyone caught sharing question papers will face up to three years in jail and a fine of ₹5,000 under the Examination Act of 1937.

To prevent leaks, the School Education Department will work with cybercrime teams to monitor teachers, staff, and others involved in handling the papers.

Board officials have revealed that more than 20 groups have already been created on social media platforms like Telegram to leak exam papers even before the exams begin.

These groups are offering different packages—Normal, Gold, and Platinum—priced between ₹500 and ₹2,500. They are even guaranteeing real question papers. In response, the MP Board has informed the State Cyber Cell about the issue.

A five-member committee has been set up for strict monitoring, and district-level teams will also keep watch.

The School Education Department has advised parents and students not to trust any offers related to leaked question papers received through social media or other sources. Instead, they should report such activities to the District Education Officer's office or the Collectorate. Schools have also been instructed to educate students about these scams.
