Morena (Madhya Pradesh): A 23-year-old woman was gang-raped by three men in Madhya Pradesh, while her family was away attending a wedding on Sunday.

According to information, the woman was alone at home when three men broke in and assaulted her. They fled the scene when her father-in-law returned home late at night.

The incident

Her family was out for attending a wedding. The accused entered the house through the roof, covered the woman's mouth, and assaulted her.

When the woman's father-in-law came back from the wedding, the men fled.

The woman then went to the Porsa police station with her family and filed a complaint.

Police have registered a case against the accused—Rampratap Chauhan, Bholu Tomar, and Pawan Tomar—and are now searching for them.

Authorities are gathering evidence, including statements from the victim and any potential witnesses, to strengthen the case. The police are also looking into the background of the accused and examining the circumstances leading to the crime.

They have assured that strict action will be taken against those responsible once they are apprehended.
