Dindori (Madhya Pradesh): A murder case was reported in Madhya Pradesh’s Dindori district on Wednesday, in which a man allegedly killed his wife’s lover, stuffed his body in a sack and threw it in a dam, the police confirmed on Wednesday.
According to information, the body of 34-year-old Bhupendra Yadav was found stuffed inside a sack in the Murki Dam near Ganwahi village, under Shahpur police station limits.
The accused husband was identified as Chandrabhan. It is said that the man had suspicion on his wife as she was found on a call frequently. Due to the same, the man allegedly killed her lover.
Accused husband worked in Rajasthan
Chandrabhan had returned home in the month of March from Rajasthan where he was working as a laborer, to celebrate the Holi festival. After returning, he suspected his wife of having an affair with Bhupendra.
Driven by anger and jealousy, Chandrabhan killed Bhupendra with an axe, reportedly with the help of a minor. After the murder, he stuffed the body in a sack, tied it with stones, and threw it into the dam. He also dumped the victim’s motorcycle in the water to destroy evidence.
