Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): Madhya Pradesh’s first ‘Pod Concept Retiring Room’ was inaugurated at platform number 6 of Bhopal railway station. The facility was formally launched by Bhopal Lok Sabha MP Alok Sharma.
Starting tariff for multi-bed pods is Rs200
The modern facility features a total of 78 pods, including 20 family pods, 40 multi-bed pods for men and 18 multi-bed pods for women. The starting tariff for multi-bed pods is Rs200, while family pods begin at Rs 400. The charges vary based on the duration of stay, offering passengers flexible and affordable options tailored to their needs.

This innovative concept offers travellers a private and comfortable cabin space equipped with modern amenities. Each pod includes a bed for sleeping, luggage storage, charging point, TV, Wi-Fi, air conditioning, and a makeup mirror, making it ideal for short stays, layovers or waiting for connecting trains.
Facilities available
The pods are entirely air conditioned with all basic facilities, including high-speed Wi-Fi, individual charging points, separate toilets for men and women, hot water via geysers, TVs, makeup mirrors, CCTV surveillance, dedicated lockers, a luggage room and a modern fire-fighting system.
