Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): The politics surrounding Dr. BR Ambedkar has intensified in Madhya Pradesh, with the BJP and Congress clashing over the issue. Chief Minister Mohan Yadav, on Friday, accused the Congress of doing injustice to Ambedkar, stating that no one had mocked the Constitution to the extent Congress did.

He emphasised that Madhya Pradesh, being the birthplace of Dr. Ambedkar, is actively working to uphold his message of equality and coexistence.

Slamming Congress’ proposed Jai Samvidhan Yatra in Mhow, Yadav remarked that the public is well aware of the party’s pomp and show. He accused Congress of ‘disrespecting‘ both Mahatma Gandhi and Dr. Ambedkar and ridiculing the Constitution.

Yadav further claimed that Congress is shedding crocodile tears to cover up its past mistakes but insisted that such efforts would not succeed. He stressed that Congress must apologize for its historical misdeeds.

Notably, the Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi, Member of Parliament Priyanka Gandhi, AICC President Mallikarjun Kharge, and the entire senior Congress leadership are scheduled to arrive in Mhow on January 27 to participate in the Jai Samvidhan Yatra.
