Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): Minister for backward class and minority welfare Krishna Gaur met girl student Sanjana Giri at her residence and inquired about her health. She was injured when a sudden a portion of school roof ceiling of PM Shri Maharani Laxmi Bai School fell down on Saturday.

Gaur said that there was no shortage of government funds but had the problem of dilapidated school building been informed in advance, then such an incident could have been averted.

She directed to provide every possible help to the injured girl student and her CT scan should be done immediately.

A portion of celling collapses

On Saturday, a portion of the plaster ceiling collapsed during an on-going class . The children seated on the first bench were hit by the falling concrete. One of the girls suffered serious injuries in it.
The injured girl received rapid medical assistance after being transported to a neighbouring hospital. In order to prevent more casualties, the pupils were removed as soon as the classroom descended into turmoil.

At the time, the classroom was packed, the teacher was engaged on teaching, and the students were paying attention to her.
