Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh):The district in-charge ministers of the government are going to be more influential from the party organisation’s point of view.

The in-charge ministers have so far held district planning committee meeting and got involved only in the government-related issues.

Now, the in-charge ministers will also get involved in the organizational work. After a meeting of the party, which continued for two days, co-organisational general secretary Shiv Prakash issued directives to the in-charge ministers about their functioning in the districts.

The party’s district presidents have been asked to remain under control in terms of government work.

The district presidents have been told not to take part in all the government meetings. They should keep in touch with the district administration through coordination in-charge ministers.

The district presidents of the BJP remain present at all the government events, and it is not considered to be the right thing to do. The in-charge ministers have been told to coordinate with the party workers and administration.

The in-charge ministers have also been told to deal with the basic problems of the BJP workers. The in-charge ministers have been advised to keep away from doing any formality.

They should meet the beneficiaries of the government schemes, visit booths and meet party workers. The state party in-charge Mahendra Singh has been asked to monitor the in-charge ministers.

The party workers should get the priority during the visit of an in-charge minister in a district, Shiv Prakash said.

It is not good that only those who are close to the district president, MP and the legislators should get their work done, he said, adding that the district presidents must find a way out.

As the in-charge ministers not the representatives of the government only, they should solve the problems related to the organisation, too, he said.
