Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): The government posted IAS officer Chandramauli Shukla as additional secretary in the CM’s Secretariat on Wednesday.

Sibi Chakravarthy, who was posted in the CM’s Secretariat as secretary, was shifted on Tuesday. With the shifting of Chakravarthy, 11 officers have been transferred from the CM’s Secretariat in the past one and a half years.

During the rule of the present government, most of the changes have taken place in the CM’s Secretariat. In fact, the CM’s Secretariat has seen 19 officers in 19 months.

When former chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan relinquished his office and current Chief Minister Mohan Yadav took over, three IAS officers—principal secretary Manish Rastogi, secretary Vivek Porwal, and deputy secretary Neeraj Vashishtha—were posted in the CM’s Secretariat.

But the new government removed all of them to post some officers of its choice.

Afterwards, principal secretary Raghvendra Singh, secretary Bharat Yadav, secretary Avinash Lavania, additional secretary Chandrashekhar Balimbe, deputy secretary Anshul Gupta, and Aditi Garg were posted there.

Among these officers, except for Balimbe, all others have been shifted from the CM’s Secretariat. Afterwards, additional chief secretary Rajesh Rajora and Sanjay Shukla, who were posted in the CM’s Secretariat, were also transferred.

At present, additional chief secretary Neeraj Mandloi, secretary Ilayaraja T, secretary Alok Singh, additional secretaries Chandramauli Shukla, Arun Parmar, Arvind Dubey and deputy secretary Vikas Mishra are posted in the CM’s Secretariat. Only Balimbe is there for a long time.

Nevertheless, there has not been any major reshuffle among the IPS officers posted in the CM’s Secretariat. When Yadav took over as CM, Anshuman Singh was posted as an IPS officer there. Afterwards, Rajesh Hingarkar was posted.

After his retirement, the government posted Hingarkar as OSD on contract, maintaining the status quo of Rajesh Gupta as OSD. But after the posting of Gupta as director of sports, Hingarkar is there as OSD.
