Horrific! 'Samdhans' Hit By Shatabdi Express While Urinating Near Rail Tracks At MP's Dabra Railway Station; One Dead, Other Loses Leg

Gwalior (Madhya Pradesh): Two women were hit by the fast-moving Shatabdi Express while urinating at Dabra Railway Station on Friday.

One of them died on the spot, while the other lost her leg in the accident.

The accident occurred at platform number 2 of Dabra Railway Station.

According to information, both were urinating near the tracks at platform no. 2, when they were caught off guard by the approaching Shatabdi Express.

According to officials, the deceased woman was Savitri Bai from Gupta Pura, and the injured woman is Bhuri Bai from Shakti Pura.

Savitri Bai died instantly, and Bhuri Bai was seriously injured. The two women were related as samdhan (co-mothers-in-law).

They had visited Morena two days earlier and returned to Dabra on Friday morning by a passenger train.

GRP outpost in-charge Sahab Singh Gurjar confirmed that the women were crossing the tracks when they saw the train and tried to run. One of them fell and was struck by the train.

The injured woman was rushed to the civil hospital by Government Railway Police (GRP) and later referred to Gwalior for further treatment.

The police have registered a case and started an investigation.
