Horrific! Passenger Bus Turns Turtle Killing 3, Injuring Over 25 In Madhya Pradesh’s Jabalpur

Jabalpur (Madhya Pradesh): A horrific road accident was reported in Madhya Pradesh’s Jabalpur, in which a passenger bus turned turtle killing three and injuring 25 people, as reported by police on Monday.

According to information, the incident occurred in the Ramanpur Valley area under Bargi police station limits, Jabalpur, at around 4 am on Sunday morning.

The passenger bus was traveling from Ayodhya to Nagpur. Suddenly, the bus lost control and overturned, resulting in the deaths of three passengers and severe injuries to more than 25 others.

The injured were rushed to Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Medical Hospital in Jabalpur and the government hospital in Lakhnadon for treatment. 

Unfortunately, two passengers succumbed to their injuries in Jabalpur, while one person died in Lakhnadon.

Driver dozed off while driving

According to the initial police investigation, the accident happened because the driver reportedly dozed off while driving. 

Bargi police station in-charge confirmed that the bus, bearing registration number MH14 LB 8718, was returning from Ayodhya to Nagpur when the mishap took place.

The deceased have been identified as - Malmma (45 years old), wife of Santhappa, resident of Hyderabad; Shubham (28 years old), son of Vijay Meshram, resident of Vishramnagar, Nagpur and Amol (42 years old), son of Chandrabhan Khode, resident of Manewada, Nagpur.

Police have registered a case on the matter and are investigating the incident further.
